ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Snyder Plumbing & Heating originally began as Phil Snyder Oil Burner Service in 1969. Phil Snyder Sr started his company as a one-man heating and oil burner service in an old red van. He worked his business as a sole proprietor until 1998 when his youngest son Phil Jr became his partner and added plumbing and gas service to the service menu.
When Phil Sr passed away in 2011, he left behind an extensive client list, and a wealth of experience and knowledge passed to his son. This knowledge and expertise allows Phil Jr the confidence and ability to work on older / antique systems found throughout many homes and businesses located in Portland and surrounding area.
Today Snyder Plumbing and Heating is one of only a handful of local service companies in the Portland, Maine area still owned and operated by second and third generations.
The Snyder Team proudly cares for their long-standing clients as well as client from Logan Oil Company and
endless client referrals just as Phil Sr did for so many years.
Phil and Ben are honored to be able to continue the company Phil Sr. started over 50 years ago.
